[Asia News Agency=조날드 타파난 특파원] The Korean government has decided to provide $ 200,000 in humanitarian aid through the Philippine Red Cross to support more than 45,000 victims from the Taal volcanic eruption in the Philippines.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, Through this support, it is expected to contribute quickly to the victim's life by providing relief supplies to the victims in the shelter due to the volcanic eruption.

Thousands of nearby residents and tourists were evacuated on 12th when the Taal volcano erupted in the middle of a lake about 65 kilometers south of Manila. Philippine authorities believe the possibility of further explosions is still high. Currently, 53,000 people are known to leave their homes and stay in shelters.
