"Who am I?"
John 1:19~34
22 Finally they said, “Who are you? Give us an answer to take back to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?”
제 자신이 누구인지 직접 말씀을 통해 질문해 주시고 믿음으로 답하게 하신 은혜의 하나님을 찬양합니다.
요한복음을 영어로 공부하며 묵상할때 지식, 경험, 선입견으로 대하지 않으려고 애쓸때 속이 메스껍게 느껴질 정도로 힘이듭니다. 이제껏 제가 어린 시절부터 읽고 예배 시간에 듣고 성극하고 암송하던 말씀입니다. 사실 요즘 제 속사람은 전쟁이 한창입니다. 새로운 땅이기에 일어나는 전쟁, 예배 드리기에 일어나는 전쟁, 언어를 못알아들어서 나는 전쟁, 요한복음 통해 레마의 말씀이 들리지 않는 전쟁입니다.
평소보다 전 성령님 앞에 납작 엎드리어 '말씀을 깨닫게 해달라!"고 두손 싹싹 빕니다. 제 머리가 이렇게 느리게 돌아가는 존재였나 생각합니다. 오늘 말씀 본문 중 22절을 집중적으로 묵상했습니다. 오늘 본문은 사람들이 한 사람에 대해 궁금해 합니다. 그 사람 이름은 '요한'입니다. 이 사람에 대해 얼마나 궁금해 하냐면, 예루살렘에서 유대지도자들이 요한이 도대체 누구인지 궁금해서 제사장들과 레위인을 보낼 정도로 궁금해 했습니다.
얼마나 궁금했으면 그 완고한 제사장들과 레위인들이 '요한'을 찾아왔습니다. 찾아와서 한다는 질문은 더 가관입니다. '요한'에게 "메시야나? 엘리야냐? 우리가 기다리는 '그 선지자'냐?" 라고 질문합니다. 여기서 어린 시잘엔 던지지 않은 질문이 속어서 나옵니다.
"도대체 요한은 무슨일을 하고 다녔길래 유대 민족 가장 중요한 위치의 사람들(메시야, 엘리야, 그 선지자)을 비유로 들며 존재를 알리고 싶어 했는지 궁금" 합니다. 흡사 이 장면은 큰 이슈가 터지자 모든 기자들이 떼로 몰려와 마이크를 들이대며 좀전의 그 질문 하는 것과 비슷합 니다.
세례요한은 이 상황을 당황하지 않고 눌리지 않고 자유하게 당당하게 정직하게 대답합니다. 이 대답하는 장면이 너무 멋있습니다. 그 어떤 훌륭한 선지자들을 예를 들어 "그 사람이냐?" 묻지만 흔들리지 않습니다. 흡사 예수님께서 광야에서 40일 금식 기도 하신후, 받으신 시험과 비슷합니다. 예수님이 그리하셨듯, 요한도 말씀을 통해 자신이 높아질수 있는 유혹을 벗어납니다.
자신은 메시야도 아니고, 엘리야도 아니고 '광야에서 외치는 자'라고 합니다. 또한 '예수님의 길을 곧게 예비하는 자'라고 이사야 말씀 통해 선포합니다. 요한은 놀랍게 자신의 위치. 분수, 주제를 알고 그대로 살았습니다. 왜 성경에서 요한을 '여자가 난 자중에 이보다 큰 자가 없었 다!' 라고 말씀 하셨는지 조금은 알거 같습니다. 선지자 중의 선지자 요한입니다.
그 이유는 오늘 이 땅에 오기전부터 준비한 정착 예배를 드렸습니다. 예배를 드리게 하시고, 찬양, 기도, 말씀, 예물을 다 받아주신 주님 찬양합니다. 영광 받으시기 합당하신 주님 찬양합니다. 말씀을 전하신 선생님 말씀을 통해서도 왜 요한이 선지자 중에 선지자인지 새로운 영적 깊이 깨닫게 되었습니다. 창세기 1장 1절, 말라기 4장 5.6절, 마태복음 1장 1절, 요한계시록 22장 21절에 기록된 그 분은 바로 예수 그리스도 이십니다. 성경에 가장 귀한 예수님이 오실길을 예비한 선지자가 선지자 중에 선지자입니다.
엘리야, 엘리사, 이사야, 예레미야 통해 하나님께 돌아온 영혼은 극소수였습니다. 그러나 요한은 요단 건너편 베다니에서 '회개하라!' 외칠때 수많은 영혼이 회개하고 하나님께 돌아왔습니다. 심지어 예수님이 주실 성령 세례를 이해시키기 위해 물로 세례를 주며 워밍업 시켜주었습니다.
TV 프로 그램은 녹화하기 전에 사전 MC가 나와서 방청객과 가볍고 즐거운 시간을 가집니다. 이 사전 MC의 시간이 지나면 메인 MC가 프로그램을 이끌어갑니다. 이 예화로보면 요한은 사전 MC 역할을 한것입니다. '빛도없이 소리도없이'
성령님께 조용히 여쭈어봅니다. '제 정체성은 무엇인가요? 저는 누구인가요?' 성령님께서 말씀하십니다. "너는 하나님의 존귀한 딸이다. 하나님의 기쁨이다. 찬양하기 위해 태어났다. 다시오실 예수님의 길을 예비하는 기름준비한 다섯처녀다. 마지막 시대 배교치 않는 전도자" 라고 답하십니다. 저는 믿음으로 아멘! 합니다.
부르신 그 삶은 제가 하는게 아리라 회개하는 예배자, 영적 나그네를 인도하시는 성령께서 하시는 것을 믿습니다. 요한은 자신이 누구인지 정확히 알았습니다. 저는 '21C 승리자'입니다. 배교의 시대 은혜로 배교치 않으며 빌라델비아 교회처럼 칭찬과 은총 받게 하실 신실하신 하나님 찬양합니다. 모든 영광 아버지께 올려드립니다.

I praise the God of grace for asking me questions directly about who I am and giving me answers with faith.
When I study the Gospel of John in English and meditate, it is so hard that I feel nauseous when I try not to treat it with knowledge, experience, and prejudice. It's a word that I've read since childhood, listened to in worship, and read and recited. In fact, these days, the people in me are in the middle of a war. It is a war that occurs because it is a new land, a war that occurs in worship, a war that I do not understand the language, and a war that does not hear Rema through the Gospel of John.
I lie flat in front of the Holy Spirit, saying, "Please make me realize what you're saying!" I think my head was working so slowly. I meditated on verse 22 of today's passage. People are curious about one person in today's text. His name is 'Yohan'. How curious I was about this person was that Jewish leaders in Jerusalem wondered who John was, so they sent priests and Levine.
How curious they were, the stubborn priests and the Leviticians came to visit John. The question of coming here is more of a spectacle. I said to Yohan, "Messi? Is it Elijah? Is it the prophet we're waiting for? Here, the young Caesar is tricked into asking questions he didn't ask.
"I wonder what the hell John was doing and wanted to make his presence known, citing people (Messiah, Elijah, the prophet) in the most important places of the Jewish people." It's similar to the scene where all the reporters flock to the microphone and ask the question a while ago when a big issue broke out.
John the Baptist does not panic, does not feel pressured, and answers freely and confidently and confidently. This answer scene is so cool. Some great prophets, for example, ask, "Is it him?" but they don't shake. It is similar to the test Jesus took after fasting for 40 days in the wilderness. As Jesus did, John also escapes the temptation to raise himself through words.
He's not Messi, he's not Elijah, he's called 'the one who cries out in the wilderness'. Also, Isaiah declares, "He who prepares Jesus' path straight." John surprisingly knew his location, fountain, theme, and lived his life. I think I know a little bit why the Bible said that John was 'None of the women was greater than this!' I'm John, the prophet of the prophets.
The reason is that I had prepared a settlement service before I came to this land today. Praise the Lord for making us worship and accepting praise, prayers, words, and gifts. Praise the Lord, who is worthy to be honored. Through the words of the teacher who delivered the message, I realized in a new spiritual depth why John was the prophet among the prophets. It is Jesus Christ who is recorded in Genesis 1: 1, Malaggi 4:5.6, Matthew 1:1, and John 22:21. The prophet who prepared the way for the most precious Jesus in the Bible is the prophet among the prophets.
Very few souls returned to God through Elijah, Elisa, Isaiah and Jeremiah. But when John shouted 'Repent!' at Bethany across the Jordan, many souls returned to God. He even baptized and warmed up Jesus with water to understand the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
The TV program has a light and enjoyable time with the audience as a pre-MC comes out before recording. After this pre-MC time, the main MC will lead the program. In this example, John played the role of a pre-MC. "No light, no sound."
I ask the Holy Spirit quietly. What is my identity? Who am I?' says the Holy Spirit. "You are the noble daughter of God. It is the joy of God. Born to praise. These are the five maids who prepared oil to prepare for Jesus' way to come again. The last generation is an unreligious evangelist." I say "amen" with faith.
I believe that the life you called me to do is done by the Holy Spirit, a worshipper who repents as Arira, who guides the spiritual traveler. John knew exactly who he was. I'm the winner of 21C. In the age of apostasy, I praise God who will not be betrayed by grace, but will be praised and blessed like the Pilate Church. I'm posting all the glory to my father.
