2. 은혜의 말씀 (삼상 13:12, 개역개정)
12 이에 내가 이르기를 “블레셋 사람들이 나를 치러 길갈로 내려오겠거늘 ‘내가 여호와께 은혜를 간구하지 못하였다.’ 하고 부득이하여 번제를 드렸낭이다.” 하니라
3. 묵상 내용
사울의 말과 행동이 마치 광대놀음 같다.
“여호와의 은혜를 입기 위하여 마음대로 행했다.”
누군가에게 잘보이기 위해서는 그 사람이 좋아할만한 행동을 해야하지 않는가?
그런데 사울은 자신이 느끼는 위기를 해결하기 위하여 마음대로 행동해 놓고, 사무엘이 잘못된 행동을 지적하자 변명아닌 변명을 한다.
내 잘못을 지적받는 죄인이 할 수 있는 행동은 두가지이다.
잘못을 인정하고 용서를 구하든지 지적하는 자의 지적을 대항하는 것이다.
죄인의 대항법은 세가지이다, 이 모두 죄이다.
1) 지적하는 자가 나보다 힘이 세면 굴복할 것이다.
2) 지적하는 자가 나와 힘이 비슷하면 싸워볼 것이다.
3) 지적하는 자가 나보다 힘이 약하면 힘으로 눌러버릴 것이다.
아무래도 사울은 1)번 방법을 사용한 것 같다.
하나님과 점점 멀어지는 불쌍한 사울의 모습이다.
4. 말씀 적용
제가 잘못했습니다. 용서해 주세요.
미안합니다. 잘못했어요.
이 말이 입에서 떨어질 수 있길 소망합니다.

사랑의 하나님 감사합니다.
하나님 앞에서 무슨 변명을 할 수 있을까요?
주님의 말씀에 순종할 수 있길 소망합니다.
예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

12 I thought, ‘Now the Philistines will come down against me at Gilgal, and I have not sought the LORD’s favor.‘ So I felt compelled to offer the burnt offering.
3. Meditation Contents
Saul's words and actions are like a clown.
“I did whatever I wanted to in order to receive the favor of God.”
In order for someone to like it, shouldn't he be doing something he or she would like?
However, Saul acts freely to solve the crisis he feels, and when Samuel points out the wrong behavior, he makes an excuse, not an excuse.
There are two things a sinner who points out my fault can do.
It is to admit the wrong and to seek the forgiveness or to counter the point of the pointed person.
There are three ways that sinners can fight, all of which are sins.
1) Those who point out will yield if they are stronger than I.
2) If the pointed person is similar to me, I will fight.
3) If the pointed person is weaker than me, I will press it with force.
It seems that Saul used method 1).
It is the image of the poor Saul who is getting farther from God.
