My heart is in pain.
I am in confusion.
Tears don’t stop falling.
I remember Job's trials.
He went through challenges.
Did you know that?
Trials come without notice.
We do not know God's time.
I remember the proverb that knocked me over.
Trials may happen at a single time.
Growth does not happen only once, So challenges are multiple.
Talked to my three-year old son,
'Son, my heart hurts so much.'
I wanted to complain about my hardship,
To my son who doesn’t speak well yet.
My son answered based on his understanding,
'Daddy, eat candy.'
After that, tears started to fall.
That’s what my young son can do to console me, From the pain that I am experiencing.
When my son cried,
When my son struggled I comforted him with candy.
I remember the last time it happened.
Upon receiving the candy, A big smile on his face was drawn.
God, I know you have a hard time dealing with us.
But as your son, I would like to try my best To praise you in the highest and give you comfort.
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. ”
