[아시아뉴스통신=조날드 타파난 기자] The Senate ratified a bicameral conference committee report for the establishment of the National Academy of Sports to give opportunity for our young Filipino athletes to have a "special curriculum on sports."
According to Senate Committee on Basic Education, Arts and Culture chair Sherwin Gatchalian once President Duterte sign and approve the bill, our government will "finally provide the financial, infrastructural, and policy support" to train Filipino student-athletes.
This will be a great opportunity for our aspiring youth to excel in sports just like other countries like South Korea and US.
