12 Now give me this hill country that the LORD promised me that day. You yourself heard then that the Anakites were there and their cities were large and fortified, but, the LORD helping me, I will drive them out just as he said.’
14 So HGebron has belonged to Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite ever since, because he followed the LORD, the God of Israel, wholeheartedly.
3. Meditation Contents
Joshua 14 is the famous Caleb's 'Give me this mountain!'
Caleb, 85, demands the leader Joshua's right to Hebron.
Caleb was one of the twelve spies who had spy on the land of Canaan at “Ganeth Vanea” at the age of 40.
The ten spies criticized the inability to take over the land of Canaan, the promised land of God.
However, only Joshua and Galap said that they would occupy God-given land.
Eventually, the Israelites followed a number of opinions, and the Israelites, who did not fully believe in God, roamed the wilderness for 40 years, and only their descendants could enter the Promised Land.
However, Joshua and Caleb were the only ones who could enter the Promised Land without dying.
This was something even Moses did not get.
