요한계시록 19:11-21
아마겟돈 전쟁에서 승리하시는 예수님
“그의 입에서 이한 검이 나오니 그것으로 만국을 치겠고 친히 저희를 철장으로 다스리며 또 친히 하나님 곧 전능하신 이의 맹렬한 진노의 포도주 틀을 밟겠고 그 옷과 그 다리에 이름 쓴 것이 있으니 만왕의 왕이요 만주의 주라 하였더라”(계 19:15-16).
계시록 18장은 큰 성 바벨론이 멸망한다는 계시록 17장 말씀을 재확인합니다.
이 세상이 멸망하는 이유는 세상에 속한 자들이 끔직한 죄악을 저지르기 때문입니다.
그들은 사람의 몸과 영혼까지(계 18:13) 거래했습니다.
죄악이 관영했던 노아의 때에 하나님께서 세상을 심판하셨듯이, 죄악이 넘치는 마지막 때의 세상을 하나님은 반드시 멸망시킵니다.
그래서 하나님은 의인들이 멸망의 세상에서 나와야 한다고 경고하십니다.
“롯의 처를 생각하라”(눅 17:32)고 말씀하십니다.
그녀는 세상을 사랑해서 멸망하는 소돔 성을 돌아보고 소금 기둥이 되었습니다.
진노의 여섯 번째 대접이 부어진 후에, 세계 통치자인 짐승은 땅의 왕들을 끌어모아서 아마겟돈 전쟁을 일으킵니다.
그들은 최후의 발악을 하지만, 백마를 타고 하늘 대군을 지휘하시는 만왕의 왕 예수님은 능력의 말씀으로 대적을 단번에 진멸하십니다.
성자 하나님이 백마를 타고 승전하신 것은 하나님의 의가 승리하고 다스릴 것을 계시합니다.
그러므로 성도들은 최후 승리를 믿음으로 바라보며, 어떠한 환란을 당해도 배도하지 않고 끝까지 진리의 복음을 굳게 붙들어야 합니다.
Interpretation on Revelation 19:11-21
Jesus Victory in the War of Armageddon
"Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS." (Rev 19:15-16).
Revelation 18 reaffirms Revelation 17 that the great city of Babylon will be destroyed.
The reason for the world's destruction is because its people commit terrible sins. They even traded people's bodies and souls(Rev 18:13).
Just as God judged the world when sin prevailed in the days of Noah, so He will surely destroy the world that is overflowing with sin.
God warns that the righteous must come out of a world of perdition.
Jesus said, "Remember Lot's wife" (Luke 17:32).
She so loved the world that she looked back at the city of Sodom and became the pillar of salt.
After the sixth bowl of wrath is poured out, the beast of the world ruler gathers the kings of the earth to wage the war of Armageddon.
They make the last move, but Jesus, the King of kings, riding a white horse and commanding the great army of heaven, destroys the enemy with the Word of his power at once.
The fact that God the Son triumphed on the white horse reveals that God's righteousness will win and rule forever.
Therefore, the saints must look forward to the final victory of Jesus with faith and hold fast to the Gospel of truth without betrayal, no matter what kind of tribulation they face.
