주 앞에서 낮추라 (빌 2:1-10)
“너희 안에 이 마음을 품으라 곧 그리스도 예수의 마음이니”(빌 2:5)
“벼는 익을수록 고개를 숙인다”라는 격언이 있습니다.
믿음의 장성한 자는 자기가 얼마나 악하고 부족한지를
잊지 않습니다.
늘 일만 달란트 빚진 자의 심령으로 하나님의 은혜를 감사하며 삽니다.
영적으로 장성한 자들은 다른 성도들을 자기보다 낫게 여깁니다.
영의 아비들은 혹시 너무 어려서 부족한 것이 드러나는 형제 자매들도 사랑으로 오래 참고 기다려 줍니다.
영적으로 어린 자들은 교만하기 쉽습니다.
자기가 제일 잘난 줄 압니다.
우리에게 잘난 것이 있습니까?
그런 사람은 그리스도 예수의 마음을 품어야 합니다.
예수님은 성자 하나님이셨는데 우리를 구원하시려고 우리보다 더 낮게 되셨습니다.
“땅에 있는 성도는 존귀한 자들이니 나의 모든 즐거움이 그들에게 있도다”(시 16:3).
거듭난 의인들을 존귀하게 여기는 자가 영적인 사람입니다.
“주 앞에서 낮추라 그리하면 주께서 너희를 높이리라”(약 4:10).

"Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus" (Phil 2:5).
A proverb says, "The more rice ripens, the lower its head."
A mature person of faith does not forget how evil and lacking he is.
He always thanks God's grace with the heart of a debtor of ten thousand talents.
Spiritually mature people regard the saints as superior to themselves.
Spiritual fathers wait patiently with love for brothers and sisters who may be too young to reveal their shortcomings.
Spiritual babies are prone to pride.
They know they are the best.
Are we have anything to boast about?
The proud must have the heart of Christ Jesus.
Jesus was God the Son, but He became lower than us to save us.
"As for the saints who are on the earth, 'They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight'"(Ps 16:3).
The spiritual honor the righteous who have been born again.
"Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up" (James 4:10).
