[Asia News = Reporter Reakkana] This October 21, the dominant girl group’s newest first mini album, "SAVAGE" has already recorded a total of 513,292 copies sold. They achieved massive and impressive numbers in just 15 days since the album’s official release on October 5th.
"SAVAGE" is AESPA’s first album since their debut last November 2020. It also marked as their latest comeback in 5 months since unveiling their chart-topping single “Next Level” in May 2021. In addition, AESPA was able to enter the US Billboard 200 and Artist 100 Charts with their “SAVAGE”. AESPA is currently holding the highest place among all K-Pop girl groups including the said chart.
“SAVAGE” also reigned over Japan’s Hot 100 Charts, Gaon Chart and Billboard US World Digital Song Sales Charts. It also conquered the same platform’s World Album, Independent Album, Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, Taste Maker Album, and Billboard Global. With that breakthrough, the group became half a million seller despite being in the industry for only about 11 months. This is showing that AESPA is really popular and influential now, not only in South Korea but also nationwide.
