본토 친척 아비 집을 떠나라
“여호와께서 아브람에게 이르시되 너는 너의 본토 친척 아비 집을 떠나 내가 네게 지시할 땅으로 가라”(창 12:1).
아브라함은 믿음의 조상입니다.
탈무드에 의하면, 아브라함의 집안은 갈대아 우르에서 우상 장사를 했다고 합니다.
그러니 그의 집안은 부유한 특권층이었을 것입니다.
그러나 아브라함은 땅의 것들에 연연하지 않고 하늘의 본향을 사모했습니다.
그래서 그는 하나님의 말씀을 좇아갔습니다.
믿음의 여정의 첫걸음은 본토 친척 아비 집을 떠나는 것입니다.
사람의 고정 관념과 인간의 이해관계로 얽혀 있는 옛 종교의 마을을 떠나지 않으면 하나님의 축복에 들어갈 수 없습니다.
우리 믿음의 목적지는 하나님께서 지시하신 땅이며 하나님의 교회입니다.
하나님의 교회에 도달한 자는 진리의 복음으로 거듭나서 천국의 영생을 누립니다.
아브라함은 갈 바를 알지 못했지만, 형편과 여건을 무시하고 하나님의 말씀을 좇아갔습니다.
아직도 마음에 죄가 있습니까?
아브라함과 같이 믿음으로 거듭나기를 원합니까?
그러면 본토 친척 아비 집을 떠나서 하나님께서 지시하시는 곳에 이르십시오.
Get out of your country, from your family, and from your father's house
"Now the Lord had said to Abram: 'Get out of your country, From your family And from your father's house, To a land that I will show you'" (Gen 12:1).
Abraham is the ancestor of faith.
According to the Talmud,
Abraham's family traded idols in Ur of the Chaldeans.
So his family must have been a wealthy and privileged class.
However, Abraham longed for his hometown in heaven, not seeking earthly things.
So he followed the Word of God.
The first step in your journey of faith is to leave your country, your family, and your father's house.
You cannot enter God's blessing unless you leave your old religious village that is intertwined with people's stereotypes and human interests.
The destination of our faith is the land that God has designated.
It is the Church of God.
Those who have reached the Church of God will be born again by the Gospel of truth and enjoy eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Abraham did not know where he was going but ignored the circumstances and conditions and followed God's Word.
Do you still have sin in your heart?
Do you want to be born again by faith like Abraham?
Then, get out of your country, your family, and your father's house, and go to where God directs you.
