요한계시록 21:1-8
의인들이 거(居)할 천국 도성을 바라보라
“또 내가 보매 거룩한 성 새 예루살렘이 하나님께로부터 하늘에서 내려오니 그 예비한 것이 신부가 남편을 위하여 단장한 것 같더라”(계 21:2).
천년왕국 후에 죄인들의 부활과 최후의 심판이 있습니다.
공의한 심판을 마치신 하나님께서 첫 하늘과 땅을 없애시고, 새 하늘과 새 땅을 창조하십니다.
그리고 거기에 하나님께서 예비하신 천국 도성이 내려옵니다.
천국 도성이나 지옥은 상징이나 허구가 아닙니다.
새 예루살렘 성이라고 불리는 천국 도성은 새 하늘과 새 땅에 반드시 임합니다.
천국 도성에는 진리의 원형복음을 믿어서 거듭난 의인들만 들어가서, 거기서 영생의 복락을 누릴 것입니다.
재난과 환란을 겪으면서도 믿음을 지켜 이긴 의인들이 천국의 영생을 유업으로 받을 것입니다.
그러나 기독죄인들을 포함한 모든 죄인들은 지옥, 즉 불과 유황으로 타는 못에 참예합니다.
죄인들은 지옥에서 세세토록 이를 갈며 고통을 받을 것입니다.
그러므로 아직 거듭나지 못한 죄인들은 조속히 회개하고, 물과 피의 복음(요일 5:6)을 믿어서 “죄 사함으로 말미암는 구원”(눅 1:77)을 받아야 합니다.
Interpretation on Revelation 21:1-8
Look at the Heavenly City where the righteous will dwell
“Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband” (Rev 21:2).
After the Millennium Kingdom, there will be the resurrection of sinners and the final judgment.
After the righteous judgment, God destroys the first heaven and earth and creates a new heaven and a new earth.
And there, the Heavenly City that God has prepared will come down.
Neither the Heavenly City nor Hell is a symbol or fiction.
The Heavenly City, called New Jerusalem, will surely come down to a new heaven and a new earth.
Only the righteous who have been born again by believing in the Original Gospel of truth will enter the Heavenly City and enjoy the blessings of everlasting life there.
Those who overcome by keeping their faith despite suffering and tribulation will inherit eternal life in the Heavenly City.
But all sinners, including Christian sinners, will be thrown into hell, the lake that burns with fire and brimstone.
Sinners will be tormented in hell with their teeth grinding forever and ever.
Therefore, sinners should repent ASAP, and receive “the remission of their sins” (Lk 1:77) by believing in the Gospel of the water and the blood (1 John 5:6).
