[Asia News Communication = Reporter Reakkana] BTS and BLACKPINK are nominated at the 2021 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards when the nominees were announced on Tuesday (Feb.2). BTS and BLACKPINK were both nominated as the Favorite Music Group category, alongside Black Eyed Peas, Jonas Brothers, Maroon 5, And OneRepublic. BTS won the Favorite Music Group award at the 2020 event.
BTS’s “Dynamite” scores a nomination for Favorite Song, alongside The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights,” Taylor Swift’s “Cardigan,” Drake’s “Toosie Slide,” Shawn Mendes’s “Wonder,” and Justin Bieber’s “Yummy.” BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez’s “Ice Cream” has received a nod in the Favorite Music Collaboration category. Fellow nominees include “Be Kind” by Marshmello and Halsey, “Holy” by Justin Bieber featuring Chance the Rapper, “Lonely” by Justin Bieber and Benny Blanco, “Rain on Me” by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, and “Stuck with U” by Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber.
The 2021 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards will air on March 13 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, and the Nick Jr. channels. Voting for the awards is now open on KidsChoiceAwards and Twitter, as well as the Screens Up and Nick Play apps.
